About
Our new millennium college, just a five minute walk from campus, opened its doors in 2000. We are home to both University and Otago Polytechnic students.
We value this diversity which can throw together future fashion designers, artists, doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers, outdoor pursuit trainers, and students studying a multitude of other disciplines. It's a rich mix that has its own energy and builds a brilliant network of creativity and knowledge. There's always a buzz at City College.
The creative architectural design of our college reflects our modern thinking. Our culture is based on 21st century values where everyone is encouraged to show consideration and compassion for others. There's an emphasis on individual freedom without limiting the freedom of others. We are a safe college.
