There’s a time to study and work hard, but there’s also a time to put your books away, relax and have fun! We know how to do that at City College and we give you plenty of options.

There’s a friendly rivalry between stairwells with competitive activities throughout the year; some serious, some great fun!

In 2017 the social activities have included:

• Speed Meeting to start the year
• Laser Tag
• City College Carnival
• LEAP! Trampoline park visit
• Ice Skating
• Big Birthday Dinner
• Baldwin St Walk & Easter Egg hunt
• College Ball held this year at Toitu Settlers Museum in May
• Games and Poker nights
• Glow in the Dark Hop
• Pool Competition

Our location, just 10-15 minutes walk to the city, means that you have an array of entertainment choices on your doorstep; cinemas, theatres, music gigs, shopping – it’s all there!
