Facilities
Computer Lab
Our 16 computers can be used 24/7 and are connected to the Otago Student computing system.
Internet Access
Residents can pay to have internet access in their apartments.
Photocopying/Fax/ Printer
Photocopying and the use of the fax and printer are available from reception at a small charge.
TV Aerial Point
Each bedroom has a TV aerial point if you wish to bring a TV from home.
Electronic Security
All residents are given a sil'key which opens the College gates after 9pm and gets you into the buildings. You are able to come and go freely while at the same time the College grounds are kept safe.
Phones
Each apartment has a telephone for local calls and it has its own number so your friends can call you. Telecom and Clear calling cards and 0800 numbers can be used to make toll cards.
Laundry
There is a free central laundry and a tub, Iron and ironing board in each apartment. You need to buy your own laundry powder.
Room Cleaning
Apartment lounges and bathrooms are cleaned three times per week. Your room is your responsibility and a vacuum cleaner is provided.
Bike Storage
We have three bike sheds which protect your bikes from the rain but you will still need to bring a strong lock for your bike.
Car Parks
We have very few requests for car parks as Otago campus is so compact with everything, including the city, in walking distance. There are a limited number of parks however which are available at $400 for the academic year. Visitors must park on the street.
