  1. Please note: The # of weeks chgd is dependent on individual courses. You will initially be charged 41 weeks.
  2. If your course exceeds 41 weeks, you will be charged an additional $290 for each additional week.
  3. We will endeavour to notify you of this as soon as your course dates have been confirmed.

(Suitable option if paying out of student loan - please refer below)

  1. Please note that weekly payments for polytech students will start from the week you arrive, as semester dates vary from course to course.
  2. If your course exceeds 41 weeks, you will be charged an additional $290 for each additional week.
  3. We will endeavour to notify you of this as soon as your course dates have been confirmed.

PLEASE NOTE: Weekly payment dates shown below are an example only. Your weekly payment can be made on any day of the week that best suits you. If you will be receiving Studylink payments, it is normally best to have your weekly payment to City College come out of your bank account the day AFTER you receive your Studylink payment. (Studylink payment days are based on your birth date, ie birthday in Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr, Studylink payment = Tuesday; birthday in May/Jun/Jul/Aug, Studylink payment = Wednesday; birthday in Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec, Studylink payment = Thursday).

The automatic payment option has been designed for those who will be paying their accommodation using Student Loan with WINZ.

The maximum amount paid by WINZ in most cases is $150 per week for the length of your course, with WINZ paying you weekly from the date your course starts. You then pay this money to us from your bank account by way of a weekly automatic payment.

It can sometimes take up to a month for WINZ to begin your payments; you need to have enough money in your account to cover your fees until the WINZ payments start.

YOU will need to apply to WINZ to find out if you are eligible for a Student Loan/Allowance. REMEMBER that even if you are eligible WINZ WILL NOT PAY the deposit or the initial lump sum ** - you will have to find this yourself. You should consider this carefully before applying for or accepting a place at City College.

The initial payment of **$5,970.50 is made for 3 reasons

1. To secure your place at City College.
2. To make up the shortfall, which occurs since the maximum amount paid by WINZ ($150 p/wk) does not cover the total College fees.
3. Includes the $175 Student Club fee & the $55.50 Computer Lab Fee.
