Head of College - Joy Crawford
Joy has shaped the culture at City College since it opened in 2000. She is passionate about the dynamics of our diverse and inclusive community. Joy continues to encourage residents to create their own traditions like the fabulous annual Art Show that is unique to City College.
While Joy is responsible for the welfare of the residents, staff and the overall running of the College, she's not the always- behind-the-desk type manager. Joy gets out and about and knows each of our residents. She's especially good at adding those homely touches like the home baking and hot drinks on study nights. Joy ensures that our academic community receive all the support they need in a warm and friendly environment.
Deputy Head of College - Barry White
Barry is our second line of pastoral care support. Plus he's involved with student events, helps to keep the peace and is also known as our Mr-Fix-It man ensuring that everything is kept in working order at City College. Barry seems to appear everywhere.
Associate Head of College - Ben Pereira
All the great things that make community life at City College so full are organised by Ben. He draws up the social calendar for the year, arranges our tutorial programme, manages our RA team and oversees our Students' Association. Ben's office door is always open and his smile is just inside the door.
Night Supervisor- Danny Taimalie
"Big D" is the welcoming face that greets you when you return from the library or town on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. He is responsible for the safety of students and the security of the College.
Receptionist - Marianne Sherer
Marianne is first port of call for all your day-to-day enquiries.
Administrator - Barbara Wilkes
If you have any queries about fees or payment schedules, Barbara is our number cruncher, give her a call.
Head Chef - Brent Cowie
Brent is our hero in the kitchen leading a team who serve up a great variety of food and cater for vegetarians and others with special dietary needs.
Librarian - Bruce Moir
Take your reading requests to Bruce, our keeper of the books.
Caretaker/Grounds Man - Graeme Boyes
Graeme ensures that City College's gardens and grounds are kept tidy and inviting.
